Dr. Darin Iverson, a practicing orthodontist since 1997, earned his dental degree, as well as his specialized post-graduate certification in orthodontics, from the UCLA School of Dentistry.
A native of Las Vegas, Nevada, he chose to join the oral healthcare field because of his own experience as a patient. Undergoing orthodontic treatment as a teen had a significant impact on his smile, his confidence, and his oral health. It was one of the best gifts his parents gave him, and he wanted to be able to provide that same gift to others.
Dr. Iverson strives to stay current on the latest developments, findings, and treatment modalities for patients. This helps to make treatment efficient, and helps ensure ideal timing and treatment to meet each patient’s individual needs.
In his spare time, Dr. Iverson enjoys traveling, camping, surfing, exercising, snowboarding, and watching movies. He lived in Bolivia for two years during his undergraduate years and is fluent in Spanish. In recent years, Dr. Iverson has developed an interest in studying languages and is currently working on Italian, French, and Portuguese. He also loves spending time with his family. Dr. Iverson has been married to his wife Tammy for 29 years, and together they have raised one daughter and three sons. He hopes one of his children will someday choose to become an orthodontist so that they can work together.

I was told by my dentist that I needed to straighten out my bite following several different dental procedures and, as an adult, was quite impressed with the whole operation at Iverson and Wahab. They really do have the whole process down to a formula that works together seamlessly.
Our son had a consultation for braces and two days later, they were on his teeth! After just two visits, our son met both Dr. Iverson and Dr. Wahab along with a bunch of other amazing people who work at their office. We were so impressed by not only the professionalism, but the kindness displayed by each staff member. It is definitely a place where my son feels comfortable - very important when you’re visiting every 8 weeks or so! We will certainly be bringing our other child in when it’s his turn for braces!
