Orthodontic Clinical Assistant

“My favorite part of being an orthodontic assistant is meeting and working with so many people from different backgrounds and helping people feel more confident about themselves through their smiles.”

Esther’s role as an ortho assistant includes assisting the doctors with a variety of procedures, and ensuring that patients are well-informed about their braces/aligners and how to take care of them.She is the mother of two teenagers (and a cat) and loves to spend time with family and friends. Esther loves to laugh and her beautiful loud boisterous laugh is what her colleagues love about her as well.

Office Manager

“I enjoy working with a great team and amazing doctors. Dr Iverson and Dr. Wahab are both a delight to be around and work with. Our office is filled with a group of people who genuinely enjoy what they’re doing. The environment is lively and fun, making for an awesome experience for our incredible patients!”

Fereshta handles a wide range of duties to ensure growth and productivity of the practice. She supports the doctors, and her main focus is working with team members by instilling a spirit of continuous improvement and teamwork.

Fereshta comes from a large family based here in Virginia. Most of her time away from work is spent at family functions. She is a mom to two teenage sons that keep her on her toes. She is a very hands-on mother and the number one advocate for her younger son who has Autism Spectrum Disorder. When possible, she works as an educational advocate for families with special needs children like her own. Fereshta says her children and husband are her first priority in life.

Orthodontic Clinical Assistant

I take pride and enjoy being an intricate part of each patient’s transformational experience and journey. Dr. Iverson and Dr. Wahab care about each member of the team as people, not just employees.”

Kenisha assists the doctors chairside with debond appointments, which are really exciting for the patients because it marks the completion of their treatment. She is also responsible for taking and submitting iTero® scans for aligners and retainers.

Kenisha received her certification as a Chairside Dental Assistant May 2000. She graduated with honors from the Applied Career Training Technical School and then went on to earn certifications as a Dental Radiation Technologist and Expanded Functions Dental Assistant.

When she’s not working as a smile elf, Kenisha enjoys spending quality time with her family and close friends playing board games, kayaking, biking, ziplining and exploring new places.

Lab/Assistant

“I enjoy getting to see how much changing the appearance of a smile can really make a difference for patients.”

Sarah spends most of her working day in our on-site lab. She prints 3D models and creates appliances and retainers. When needed, she also provides patient care and assists the doctors with procedures.

Outside the office, Sarah spends much of her time with her husband, child, and the family’s two dogs and two cats. They enjoy traveling and, when the weather is nice, hiking.

Orthodontic Assistant

I love watching patients’ smiles transform and seeing the happiness/confidence they build overtime. The excitement that some patients bring on debond day feels like almost the biggest reward of the job.

Mandy has a wide variety of duties as a dental assistant. She changes archwires, prepares teeth for bonding, and uses the iTero machine to scan patients mouths for retainers and appliances

Mandy moved to this area from West Virginia with her boxer named Rocky. She loves to hike and explore new places.

Financial Coordinator

“My favorite part of my job would be seeing the transition of our patients’ smiles! We see a wide range of patients and it never gets old. A bright smile makes my day. I love our doctors because they are great people which makes them even greater doctors in my opinion. They truly care about our patients. My doctors are genuine and two of the best I ever worked with.”

Staci handles all of the financial matters related to treatment. That includes patient accounts, financial contracts, and billing.She’s a mom of two girls and a yorkie, and a wife. Staci loves traveling, cooking, and making memories with the ones that matter the most.

Marketing Coordinator / Orthodontic Assistant

“I like seeing the face change and the different attitude patients have from when they first get their braces versus the day when we remove the braces and they see their new smile.”

Tina works as the marketing coordinator and in the clinic, assisting with routine appointments, offering patient care, and helping with any concerns a patient might have. She also sterilizes instruments and takes iTero® scans to create aligners and retainers. She is in charge of all the ad campaigns and marketing contests run by the office. Tina also manages our social media.

Beyond the office, Tina’s very family-focused. She and her husband have two young daughters, Gianna and Mia, a dog named Zeke and another baby girl on the way any day now. She loves being around her family, staying active, cooking, and exploring with her husband and kids.

Orthodontic Assistant

“My favorite part about this job is placing braces and removing braces because I like seeing the process and patient’s journey from beginning to end. Our doctors are patient and fun to be around. They treat all the assistants with respect and are amazing with our patients”.

Alejandra has been with Iveson and Wahab Orthodontics since March of 2022 but has been in the dental field since 2019. She is extremely kind and thorough in her interactions with our patients.

In her free time, Alejandra likes to spend her day at the beach, play soccer, and go to the mall. She also likes her alone time.

Scheduling Coordinator

“Besides working with the funniest people in Arlington, my favorite part of my job is seeing our patients’ smiles when I bring out the fresh baked cookies! I love working with Dr. Wahab and Dr. Iverson because they are genuinely amazing people and great leaders for our team”.

Cate began working with Iverson and Wahab Orthodontics in August of 2022. She has a cheerful and inviting personality. She is courteous and extremely helpful at the frontdesk. She helps patients with scheduling their appointments, in person and over the phone. She also bakes our fresh cookies daily!!

Orthodontic Assistant

“My favorite part of my job is assisting the younger patients become more comfortable with their orthodontic journey. Dr. Iverson and Dr. Wahab treat everyone with kindness and respect and as a team we love to laugh together”.

Robin joined our team in March of 2023. She is a skilled OA with many years of experience in the field. She assists the doctors with all aspects of the patient care and is a great mentor for newer assistants. We are very grateful to have Robin on our team.

Robin is a mom to 3 amazing young adults. She loves to spend time with her family and especially her partner in life, Pablo. She has two pups, Lokai and Sophia. She and her family love to camp and spend as much time as possible in Key West and Gulf Coast of Florida.
