Dr. Mona Wahab is a native of Northern Virginia, growing up in McLean. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree as well as her post-doctoral training in orthodontics from Howard University College of Dentistry. She was among the top students in her class, receiving a number of awards and distinctions throughout her years of study there. Before that, Dr. Wahab completed her Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience with honors from the College of William and Mary.
Dr. Wahab is a board-certified orthodontist, also known as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Becoming board certified signifies the orthodontist’s pursuit of continued proficiency and excellence in orthodontics. She is Invisalign® certified and has received extensive training in treating crowding, cross-bites, skeletal jaw discrepancies, and other orthodontic malocclusions.
Dr. Wahab loves her profession and her favorite part of being an orthodontist is seeing the joy in her patients’ faces when unveiling their smiles at the end of their treatment. When not working on beautiful smiles for her patients, Dr. Wahab enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and their three boys.
